As passive fire safety specialists, our Fire & Security Division occasionally has surplus fire doors for various reasons and over the years, these mount up.
Trail Group’s sustainability commitments mean that we will always prioritise re-use to avoid waste to landfill.
As part of this, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with Green Doors.
Last year Green Doors were awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development for giving pre-owned and surplus doors and windows a second life.
Jon Crosby, Managing Director of Trail Group:
“A huge thank you to our Warehouse Manager Jason Dhoffer who has done a brilliant job in sourcing such a great way of repurposing our surplus doors and in setting up this new collaboration with Green Doors.”
A consignment of 50 doors recently started the journey from Trail Group to their new homes.
