Martin Stevens is our Compliance Manager for passive fire protection, overseeing the installation and maintenance of timber fire doors, fire stopping, cavity barriers, and partition systems.
Martin joined Trail Group in 2018 as a Fire Door Inspector and was appointed to his current role in 2020.
He is a certified Fire Risk Assessor, a certified FIRAS Supervisor for passive fire protection, and an FDIS-certified Fire Door Inspector.
He manages our independent accreditations for passive fire safety, working with organisations such as FIRAS and the Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS).
Martin is responsible for training our engineers and subcontractors in all aspects of passive fire protection.
He also delivers training to clients in fire door inspection and in passive fire protection compliance to raise awareness of the issues and to promote building safety more widely.
We offer a range of passive fire safety solutions – in addition to our active fire safety services – for both new build and older properties. These include timber fire doors, cavity barriers and loft compartmentation, as well as the issuing of certifications for compliance.
